I know A LOT of wedding photographers in the Denver area and the BIGGEST misconception about photographers is that they “charge too much for taking photos”.

Don’t be so quick to assume that wedding professionals are “making a ton of money”. We have our bills to pay just like everyone else, it’s just that we’re also running a business.

Well, being a wedding photographer, I absolutely have to agree with Nikki on her response. And I would say that in general, people understand paying for education and experience. Do you want a brand new doctor right out of med school performing your surgery? Or someone who practices medicine “on the side” and “as a hobby?” Or someone who went to med school and has been doing that exact surgery for 10 years? And do you think they all charge the same? You get what you pay for.
